Strength to Strength

Hanbury-Autogil has seen exponential growth across the business. This growth in repeat orders, existing machine servicing and new business enquiries is a direct result of the quality reputation that can be attributed to the name ‘Hanbury-Autogil’ from over 50 years of trading.

In June 2018, Hanbury-Autogil became involved in a European tendering process that derived from a company called Parafix. Despite the high level of global competition, the tender was awarded to Hanbury-Autogil for 3 Flatbed Die Cutting machines. The tender was awarded because the Hanbury-Autogil submission exceeded tender deliverables, whilst showing that the company can compete on cost and production scale.

Focus for 2019 is to support the historical organic growth with proactive marketing, this will allow the company to expand into new premises, increase department specific personnel and invest in research and development across the Autogil machine range.

Machining Capacity

The introduction of a twin-shift working pattern has enabled Hanbury-Autogil to increase productivity by 30%, reducing lead times, increasing production and enhancing project deliverables.

Machining capacity has increased with the introduction of a new machine – the HURCO VM20i. This machine is in addition to our already extensive machine shop, increasing precision engineering capacity at a time when major clients across the transport and automotive sectors expand on their demands.
